Purpose and Scope of Position:

(Job Summary)

• To provide all coaching services to the Club’s members and guests, including all programmed activities but not limited to exercise prescription, fitness testing and lifestyle assessment, which exceeds members’ and guests’ expectations, maintains the reputation of the Academy, promotes awareness, and maximizes the profitability of the Academy.  To be actively involved in the promotion and sales of Academy membership.

Main Duties:  

• To assess in all coaching for all users in accordance with the Padel Academy assessment procedure. All users include all the ages and groups (Junior, Ladies, Adults).

• To manage the programmed activities and planned activities by the Assistant Academy & Tournament Manager and Academy & Tournament Manager

• To provide members and guests with information on the Academy schedule, Activities and forthcoming events and tournaments e.g. Flyers, noticeboard, promotion etc.

• To prepare and execute proposals for new activities, challenges, and tournaments. On a monthly basis.

• To promote membership sales, liaising closely with Padel Academy’s management on all membership schemes.

• To promote PADEL as the fastest growing/trending sport in the world.

• To promote the existing Padel Tournaments and Tours.

• To ensure all Padel Academy equipment and facilities are available and in good working order, monitoring equipment and courts servicing and warranties. E.g. to maintain the balls in good status. Yellow band straps, tubes, and equipment to be taken care of.

•  To ensure all health and safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents or injury to the Club’s visitors/members and fellow workers.
• To report any accidents or potential hazards to the Duty Manager & Head of Sports & Leisure. That includes any court status updates (panels, floor, etc.)

• To ensure that the Club is maintained in a clean and tidy condition.

• To ensure no unauthorized use of the Padel courts (external coaches).

• To take immediate action to solve visitor/members’ problems, ensuring mutually agreeable solutions are reached at the earliest convenient time.

• To keep the Club Manager / Head of Sports & Leisure informed of visitor/members’ problems and action taken.

• To ensure that the Club’s policies, procedures and rules are adhered to at all times, including prevention of loss and/or damage to the Club’s property and/or revenue.

• To attend training courses as determined by the HSL and the needs of the business, including health & safety training, to keep abreast of current trends/issues and develop own level of skills to offer the highest level of teaching.

• To encourage Padel members to utilize other facilities by promoting the benefits of exercise and promoting the facilities amongst golf members.

• To assist and participate in the Established Open Days for Members and Newcomers to the club.

Added responsibilities for Senior Padel Coach

•  To organize and coordinate member events in conjunction with the sales and marketing department, golf department and general manager. (Senior and Assistant Manager).
