Purpose and Scope of Position:

(Job Summary)

To operate, repair, troubleshoot and maintain all electronic, kitchen, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) equipment ensuring the effective operation of all equipment and ancillaries. Attend to all maintenance requests, as assigned by his supervisors in accordance with the departmental standards.

1. Main Duties:

  (Job Related Duties)  

General

a)    To inspect, clean, maintain and repair all electronic, kitchen, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) equipment installations and systems.

b)    To carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on all electronic, kitchen, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) equipment and ancillary equipment’s.

c)    To carry out new installation to all electronic, kitchen, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) equipment and ancillary equipment when necessary.

d)    To check daily all related electronic, kitchen, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) equipment and ensure proper functionality.

e)    To carry out hands-on electronic, kitchen, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) equipment and Events/Function installation works within the confines of the Topgolf or any other item as directed.

f)     To coordinate with Facilities Lead / Asst. Facilities Lead in all electronic, kitchen, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) equipment and system related works, ensuring that all deficiencies in equipment operation and defects are attended and completed in a timely manner.

g)    To carryout minor repairs to all Topgolf-Dubai furniture and fixtures.

h)   To prepare requisitions for material necessary for the job performance of his subordinates and control the issue and consumption of such material.

i)     To demonstrate good leadership skills and motivation of his subordinates.

j)     To show good abilities in human resources management of his subordinates.

k)    To ensure punctual attendance at work of all employees.

l)     To inspect regularly the function and safe operation of all equipment under his jurisdiction

m)  To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.

n)   Topgolf is a part of EGC and the Multi-Skilled Technician if required will be asked to work at the Club.

o)    Any other duties assigned by the Facilities Lead/Asst. Facilities lead.

p)    Participate in Topgolf-Dubai emergency response team.

q)    Participate in the control of all heat, light and power equipment according to the need and demand of the Topgolf-Dubai and the external weather condition

r)    To ensure cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.

s)    To ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform of subordinates, particularly when working in guest areas.

2. Ancillary Duties:

In line with the Dubai Golf’s continual improvement and the involvement with General Operations, the Multi-Skilled Technician is required to participate in various extra activities contributing to the growth of the Topgolf-Dubai culture including various evening functions.

3. Quality Responsibilities:

a)    To ensure that Health, Safety, Hygiene, Food Safety and Municipality regulations are adhered to and make thorough spot checks and report any faults immediately to the Executive Chef.

b)    Aware and demonstrate Dubai Golf’s Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.

4. IT Security Awareness:

a)    Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.

b)    Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.

c)    Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.

d)    All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
