JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position                      :           Marketing Executive

 

Department                :           Marketing & Communications – Dubai Golf

           

Reports To                  :           Marketing Manager – Hospitality & Entertainment Porfolio

                                                                       

Job Purpose        :

 

To support and create commercially-led and memorable marketing campaigns that follow the overall strategy in line with departmental and club standards at Dubai Golf and wasl Hospitality, in order to grow our brands, gain more leads and drive revenue across the business. The role will maintain a particular focus on Food & Beverage operations at Jumeirah Golf Estates, which consists of five restaurants, while also providing support across Topgolf Dubai, with office time split between JGE and DG Marketing’s head office at Emirates Golf Club.

 

  1. Main Duties:

 

    1.  Report to Marketing Manager of Hospitality and Entertainment – responsible for the day-to-day delivery of marketing for outlets and events, focusing on increasing marketing penetration and awareness and revenue growth.

 

    1. With an eye for detail, creativity and sales calls to action, support in the management of the Dubai Golf brand and that of its products, helping to deliver strong brand and revenue growth.

 

    1. Help to deliver the operational, branding and marketing plan for areas of responsibility, while taking the lead on day-to-day project management of marketing activities.

 

    1. Responsible for keeping allocated social media accounts active and engaging, with strong calls to action; including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whilst keeping updated with the latest trends to continuously develop and expand the social media presence.

 

    1. Responsible to ensure that all paid social media ads are running with updated assets every 4 weeks, for all dining accounts across Dubai Golf

 

    1. Use initiative and benchmarking to produce ideas for live activations and promotions, adhering to the brand guidelines at all times.

 

    1. Close liaison with F&B and Events within the club to ensure that promotions and key messages are communicated in a timely and efficient manner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    1. Briefing in artworks to Dubai Golf Publishing, working with the designers to create artworks in various sizes and styles. Assist the designers in generating new ideas and designs for artworks.

 

    1. Provide other support to the Head of Marketing Communications and Managers - Marcom as and when required.

 

    1.  Produce reports for all activities undertaken with reference to measurement and ROI where appropriate. Including maintaining and reviewing plans for key campaigns.

 

    1. Responsible for the update and management of the outlets and promotions on the website, in addition to branded emails to members and visitors to the club.

 

    1.  Coordinate video and photo shoots at locations.

 

    1. Responsible for maintaining and update Content Calendars for all social media profiles including monitoring four WhatsApp groups that are set up for generating content.  Updating social media as and when is required (including out of office hours).

 

    1. Presence and involvement at PR events and Meetings.

 

    1. Liaise with the PR Agency and press to assure the correct publicity comes out.

 

    1. Manage the Social Media agency and conduct 2x bi-weekly meeting per month to monitor the performance and spend

 

    1. Take on the key accounts in F&B, improve and modernize the brands/collateral, deliver campaign and activities with goal of helping to create cost efficiencies while increasing footfall and annual revenues.

 

    1. To submit monthly reports per Club by 3rd of every month that consist of campaign, creatives, social media, digital activities (owned like GMB, website update) and PR activities

 

1.19 Control the marketing share drive for designated outlets and business areas and keeping files up to date.

 

2. Ancillary Duties:

 

In line with Dubai Golf’s goal of continuous improvement, you may be requested to participate in various extra activities contributing towards individuals and organizational growth, as well as attending any meeting, training or seminars to help develop yourself and the club.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Quality Responsibilities:

 

Aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.

 

 4. IT Security Awareness:

 

  1. Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and                 procedures of wasl.

 

  1. Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as          appropriate and applicable.

 

3.   Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.

 

4. All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

 

SUPPORTIVE SKILLS

 

 

Bachelor of any marketing or business field or equivalent with minimum of an internship in a similar position

 

 

Relevant qualifications/training in areas relevant to job description.

 

 

Good command of the English language and other languages preferred

 

 

Marketing experience in hospitality or tourism related industry is preferred

 

 

Excellent Computer skills, with great graphic designing skills and Digital marketing expertise

 

 

Pleasant, friendly and outgoing personality

 

Fluent in written and spoken English

 

Experience of social media management
