Purpose and Scope of Position:

 

Bay Hosts provide best-in-class service with hospitality for Guests. They are experts at the technical side of the job - knowledge of the menu and the ability to serve with outstanding attention to detail. But beyond that, Bay Hosts make Guests feel welcome, they engage with them, introduce them to new and exciting food and beverage options, facilitate gameplay and make their visits to Topgolf memorable.

 

 Main Duties

(Job Related Duties)  

  

  1. To ensure bays are clean and ready for Guests.
  2. To greet every Guest immediately in a friendly and approachable manner.
  3. To assist Guests in understanding and enjoying the game - including the safety rules, bay features and game demo.
  4. To engage with Guests and ensure they are well cared for at all times.
  5. To maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times, adhering to company dress standards (including name badge) and high standards of personal hygiene.
  6. To project positivity and have fun.
  7. To attend daily pre shift and department meetings.
  8. To ensure a smooth and efficient service at all times, gathering feedback at every opportunity and relaying it to the Hospitality Managers.
  9. To assist with clearing and relating tables when required.
  10. To demonstrate care and efficiency in handling cash and credit cards.
  11. To offer food and beverages to the guest.
  12. To suggest premium menu items enhance the Guest’s experience and maximize revenue.
  13. To Protect Guests and community by observing the rules of responsible alcohol service,
  14. To ensure health & safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents or injury in the venue.
  15. To report immediately any hazards or potential hazards, including maintenance

 

requirements.

  1. To adhere to service standards - timeliness, quality, accuracy, sanitation, etc.
  2. To be aware and demonstrate Topgolf Mission, Vision and Core Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.

 

2. Ancillary Duties:

 

In line with the Club’s strive for continuous improvement, you may be requested to participate in various extra activities contributing towards individuals and organizational growth.

 

Represent the department or a group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, Sport Committee or projects. Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.

 

3. Quality Responsibilities:

 

Aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.

 

4.  IT Security Awareness:

  1. Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
  2. Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
  3. Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
  4. All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
