Position: ASSISTANT GOLF EXPERIENCE MANAGER

Purpose and Scope of Position:
(Job Summary)
To assist with frontline operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes and excellent service with a primary focus of delivering service excellence in outside golf operations services.
Job Description:
Ensuring service excellence the outside service operation and the administration of golf tournaments as well as being a mentor to interns.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Golf Services Manager
- Assists in developing and maintaining a club atmosphere that will enhance the clubs image and positively distinguish it from the competition.
- As a secondary the Assistant Golf Experience Manager will oversee the execution & delivers “tour techniques’ for prospective members that identify their needs so that the tour is tailored to showcase those needs.
- Develops a complete understanding of membership classifications, fees, programs at the club, club policies, rules and guidelines to answer member and prospective member questions.
- Assists new members with becoming familiar with the club, staff and privileges
- Is familiar with competitive clubs, their services, pricing structure, membership programs etc.
- Oversees the day to day golf operations including but not limited to:
- Weekly Rental Set Audit Reports
- Weekly Golf Cart Fleet Audit Reporting
- Stock taking reports of consumables and assets
- Ensures timely repairs of cart fleet breakdowns working with fleet manager
- Ensure that SOP’s & Policies are adhered to and followed across all outside service areas.
- In charge of all operational storage areas & logging of items within store
- The ability to conduct golf events, prize giving , preparations and press releases
- Assists as required with corporate golf days as directed by DOG.
- Works in golf operations as required, starter, marshall, range etc.
- Ensures 59club results are monitored and reporting done to display areas of improvement.
- Prepare a monthly training & development plan for all outside service colleagues and delivering of this training with the assistance of the DOG, GSM and GEM.
- Overseeing of Outside Service colleague rostering & allocation of roles & responsibilities.
Communication Responsibilities:
- Weekly reporting into line manager.
Ancillary Duties:
In line with the Club’s drive for continual improvement and the involvement with General Operations, the Assistant Golf Experience Manager is required to participate in various extra activities contributing to the growth of the club culture including attendance at major golf event prize presentations and various evening functions.
Quality Responsibilities:
- Standards within the Quality Policy document and Club’s operations Manual. Achievement of quality goals. Compliance with the statement of values. This may include periodical audits and data collections.
- To be actively involved in the Club ISO Quality Management Certification process
- Aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to adopt the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.
IT Security Awareness:
- Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl.
- Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
- All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
