Purpose and Scope of Position:

(Job Summary)

 

The AV Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, electrical, and general facility systems to ensure seamless venue operations. This role combines technical expertise in electronic systems with hands-on general maintenance support, ensuring all equipment, game systems, and facilities are maintained to Topgolf standards while delivering a safe and high-quality guest experience.

 

1. Main Duties:

  (Job Related Duties)  

 

Technical & Maintenance Operations

  1. Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair:
    1. Games Equipment, AV systems, lighting, and electrical systems
    2. Venue facilities, fixtures, and ancillary equipment
  2. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  3. Monitor operation and proper usage of all systems and equipment
  4. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve technical issues across the venue
  5. Support installation and setup of new equipment and event-related technical requirements
  6. Carry out minor repairs (carpentry, painting, fixtures, etc.) across the venue

 

Facilities & Grounds Support

  1. Troubleshoot and repair issues across all areas of the venue including buildings and outdoor areas
  2. Operate maintenance equipment (as applicable)
  3. Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions in all work areas
  4. Support facility readiness during events and peak operations

 

Inventory & Resource Management

  1. Monitor usage of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies
  2. Prepare material requisitions and control inventory usage
  3. Ensure efficient utilization of resources in line with budget and operational needs

 

 

Teamwork & Guest Experience

  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests to support a seamless experience
  • Support colleagues across departments to maintain operational continuity

2. Ancillary Duties:

 

In line with Dubai Golf’s continual improvement and the involvement with General Operations, the Topgolf Technician is required to participate in various extra activities contributing to the growth of the Topgolf culture including various evening functions.

 

 

3. Quality Responsibilities:

 

  1. To ensure that Health, Safety, Hygiene, Food Safety and Municipality regulations are adhered to and make thorough spot checks and report any faults immediately to the Executive Chef.
  2. Aware and demonstrate Dubai Golf’s Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.

 

4. IT Security Awareness:

  1. Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
  2. Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
  3. Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
  4. All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
