Purpose and Scope of Position:

(Job Summary)

 

To support our best-in-class service with hospitality for our Guests. To keep the venue clean, organized and in tip-top shape.

 

 

1. Main Duties:

  (Job Related Duties) 

 

General

  1. To liaise and meet with the Outsourced Soft Services Provider to ensure that all Soft Services are delivered efficiently and within the agreed timeline.
  2. To supervise all housekeeping supervisors and housekeeping staff (External Contracting Cleaning Staff) and demonstrates the task on hand.
  3. To demonstrate good leadership skills and motivation of his subordinates.
  4. To show good abilities in human resources management of his subordinates.
  5. Prepare cleaning checklists and duty roster for all the housekeeping staff.
  6. To ensure punctual attendance at work of all housekeeping staff.
  7. To Supervise the allocation of work schedule to all housekeeping staff.
  8. Assigns housekeeping supervisors of their duties and inspects work in accordance with the prescribe standards of cleanliness.
  9. To supervise and monitor the cleaning in all public areas.
  10. To supervise and monitor the daily disposal of collected wastes from all areas.
  11. To conduct inspection in all areas cleaned by External Contracting Cleaning Staff during night shift and record any work not properly done then informs the appropriate person.
  12. To monitor inventories stock and consumables to ensure adequate supplies.
  13. Maintain proper storage of all consumables, tools and equipment.
  14. Request for cleaning chemicals and equipment’s as per site requirements
  15. To ensure guest and staff toilets are replenished with supplies
  16. To supervise the collection, delivery and issuance of linen and uniforms.
  17. Assists on function sites and delegates housekeeping requirement as per function.
  18. Liaises amongst housekeeping staffs to management.
  19. To assist the Facilities Lead/Assistant Facilities Lead in the creation of an efficient and professional housekeeping team.
  20. Supports the administration of the department through maintenance coordination.
  21. Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
  22. To report to his superior all deficiencies and defects within the area of his responsibility noted in the course of his duty.
  23. Topgolf is a part of EGC and as a Senior Housekeeping Supervisor if required will be asked to work at the Club.
  24. To assist with the departmental training programmes, ensuring that all employees have a complete understanding of the Topgolf-Dubai policies relating to Fire, Safety, Health and Hygiene, and that these policies are strictly adhered to.
  25. To liaise with the Outsourced Soft Services Provider for all trainings required for the housekeeping staff (External Contracting Cleaning Staff)
  26. To supervise the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals training to all housekeeping staff.
  27. To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.
  28. To observe cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.
  29. To ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform of all facilities staff , particularly when working in guest areas.
  30. Participate in Topgolf-Dubai emergency response team.
  31. To perform other duties outside the normal routine if so required, within the scope of the department.

 

2. Ancillary Duties:

 

In line with the Dubai Golf’s continual improvement and the involvement with General Operations, the Housekeeping Supervisor is required to participate in various extra activities contributing to the growth of the Topgolf-Dubai culture including various evening functions.

 

 

3. Quality Responsibilities:

 

  1. To ensure that Health, Safety, Hygiene, Food Safety and Municipality regulations are adhered to and make thorough spot checks and report any faults immediately to the superiors.
  2. Aware and demonstrate Dubai Golf’s Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.

 

4. IT Security Awareness:

  1. Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
  2. Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
  3. Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
  4. All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
