Purpose and Scope of Position:

(Job Summary)

• Responsible for all aspects of In-house and Outsourced Facilities Management including physical building structure, roadscapes and infrastructure, all electronic software and hardware, MEP systems including HVAC and related equipment’s in accordance with energy conservation and preventive maintenance.
• Leads the Topgolf-Abu Dhabi Facilities Team venues (includes building and fixtures) and grounds best-in-class.
• Responsible for the overall maintenance of the venue, repair and replacement of equipment including the game system and other related technologies.
• Responsible for Housekeeping, to ensure upkeep of guest areas and all support areas to maintain an attractive venue appearance.
• To support Facilities Lead in executing daily activities and all Topgolf Projects.

1. Main Duties: 

(Job Related Duties)

1. Work closely with all external Topgolf Team for all venue related maintenance and operational issues.
2. Work closely with building, ground maintenance & operations team.
3. Co-ordinate with IT team whenever required.
4. Coding/programming if required to be done In-house to ensure the smooth operation of SAVI and all other gaming system.
5. Ensure that the preventive maintenance schedules are monitored on a regular basis.
6. Monitor operation and proper use of all equipment and systems.
7. Monitor and control departmental budgets.
8. Monitor the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment.
9. Coach and develop the Facilities Team.
10. Demonstrate Topgolf’s Core Values: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Edgy Spirit and Caring.
11. Ensure that all Facilities Associates are adequately trained, equipped, and engaged.
12. Delegate and follow-up on the completion of tasks.
13. Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
14. Ensure city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are met.
15. Housekeeping schedules are monitored with the Supervisors and ensure that the premises are maintained all time clean and tidy

Outsourced & In-house Service Delivery

1. Increase the Periodic Preventive Maintenance (PPM) work and Decrease Reactive Work to meet indicative ratios (e.g. 70% PPM and 30% reactive), to ensure more preventive maintenance work is carried out rather than responding to demands for breakdown maintenance.
2. Have a weekly/monthly review with the service provider to monitor his performance in terms of quality of his manpower deployed, work completion times, repetitive works, quality of work etc. Generate the monthly score card of FM service delivery and agree on action plans to improve the performance.
3. Carry out routine inspection of Topgolf Building as well as to check the service quality of service providers on ground and carryout minimum 10% of PPM performed major equipment services.
4. Ensure that all staff training needs are fulfilled adequately for the staff to perform necessary action of work with the highest level of expertise of knowledge.

General Skills

1. Ability to work a flexible schedule within the nature of position in the hospitality industry.
2. Possess the knowledge and necessary skills to perform technical tasks in a maintenance environment.
3. Ability to access information, create Maintenance Reports and business correspondences, using a moderately complex computer system.
4. Develop & maintain preventive maintenance program.
5. Familiar with HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, fire suppression, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and civil etc.
6. Familiar with chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, chemical treatments, control systems, water systems, kitchen and refrigeration equipment, etc.
7. Understand asset management, preventative maintenance and ongoing cost implications

Customer Relations

1. Nature of the hospitality industry requires strong customer service orientation and skills.
2. Liaise with other Head of Departments for departmental engineering, maintenance requirements and projects.
3. Liaise with all relevant government departments i.e. DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority ) as and when required.
4. Ensure all local and federal laws are adhered to pertaining to engineering and civil works.

2. Ancillary Duties:

1. In line with the Dubai Golf’s continual improvements, you may be requested to participate in various extra activities contributing towards individuals and organizational growth.
2. Represent the department or a group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (Environmental), Food Committee, Sport Committee or projects. Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.

3. Quality Responsibilities:

1. To ensure that Health, Safety, Hygiene, Food Safety and Municipality regulations are adhered to and make thorough spot checks and report any faults immediately to the Executive Chef.
2. Aware and demonstrate Dubai Golf’s Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.

4. IT Security Awareness:

1. Read, understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
2. Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
3. Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
4. All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
